Goodyear introduces high profile AGRI Club

14/07/2009

Tyre giant, Goodyear, has introduced a new agricultural club for farmers nationwide. The exclusive Goodyear AGRI Club has been set up to encourage the sharing of best practice and industry news throughout the UK's farming community.

Free to join, the Goodyear AGRI Club offers members regular e-mail and postal newsletters as well as tyre offers and opportunities to join the Goodyear team at farming shows across the country.

The Goodyear farm team were pleased to sign up their 100th member to the newly formed club at the Cereals show in Cambridge.

This 100th member came in the shape of John Hill, double World Ploughing Champion and current user of Goodyear tyres. Richard Hutchins, Goodyear Farm Tyre Specialist, shook hands with the successful ploughing champion (pictured) as he took down his details and signed him up to the exclusive club.

"The AGRI Club is our new initiative which we hope will join farmers across the nation together providing them with offers and promotions relating to Goodyear products and events through the seasons" said Richard.

"We are pleased to have signed over one hundred farmers up to the club already but hope to increase this number as the show season progresses. We felt that it was important to share best practice and also to provide our consumers with offers and promotions they may not have been aware of previously. We want to build relationships with our end users, and the AGRI club, as well as our prominence at farming shows throughout the year, is helping us to achieve this goal. Only by talking to our customers directly will we learn what they want from their tyres" concluded Richard.

If you would like to become a member of the AGRI Club go to www.mygoodyear.co.uk and print out a registration form and post back to Kate Rock, Goodyear AGRI Club, TyreFort, 88- 98 Wingfoot Way, Erdington, Birmingham, B24 9HY.
