This month Goodyear celebrates after selling 1 million units of their immensely popular Optitrac tyre range.
Phil Stanton, Goodyear Farm and OTR Manager comments: "The success of our Optitrac range is a result of its excellent tyre traction, low soil compaction, its long life and high comfort when riding at higher speeds on the road. Our sales force has demonstrated with facts and figures to countless end-users across the UK and Europe that Goodyear Optitrac provides tremendous versatility at low cost over its long tyre life. The extensive size line-up in Optitrac allows you to do all kinds of work, fast, secure and at low cost, throughout the year in any soil condition."
Goodyear Optitrac first arrived on the UK farm scene with the introduction of the DT812, 70 series tyre. The DT812 set the benchmark for field traction and mileage and was complemented by the DT818, 65 series variant. Goodyear Optitrac tyres use similar internal construction, tyre shape, lug configuration, premium tread depth and a modern sidewall styling. The range was further extended by the DT824 volume range, DT830 super volume range and DT800 in row crop sizes. After this extension, the DT806, 85 series tyre was introduced, making the Optitrac range a family of six successful tyre ranges. Goodyear expanded the Optitrac range with a series of tyre sizes fitting the next generation of 65 km/h, high speed, high power, 4WD tractors named Optitrac R+. To date Optitrac R+ is available in 13 sizes allowing multiple front and rear size combinations. Its outstanding, top of the range performance is appreciated by many OE and replacement customers.
The Optitrac range is available in 118 different size and load combinations meeting the needs of the farming community not only in Europe but worldwide.
