Группа компаний Goodyear Dunlop выпустила свою 4-миллионную шину RunOnFlat в Европе

Шины Goodyear RunOnFlat выпускаются на заводе компании в немецком городе Фулда, а Dunlop RunOnFlat производятся в Ханау и Фюрстенвальде, в Германии.

После ограниченного производства в период с 2001 г. по 2003 г., за прошлые два года было выпущено более трех миллионов шин, т.к. все большее число водителей признавало преимущества шин, которые можно продолжать безопасно эксплуатировать, по крайней мере, еще 80 километров после прокола. Филипп Дегир (Philippe Degeer), вице-президент подразделения пассажирских шин группы компаний Goodyear Dunlopв Европе, заявил: "Теперь шины RunOnFlatначинают признавать за те выгоды, которые они дают с точки зрения безопасности и комфорта". "Проведенные нами исследования показывают, что до недавнего времени более 70% европейских водителей не знали о преимуществах технологии RunOnFlat.
