On March 13, 2007 he conquered the highest volcano on earth, the Ojos del Saldao, with two Jeeps Wrangler equipped with specially designed Goodyear tires. Today this record altitude of 6,642 metres officially was confirmed by NASA. Up to 250 metres Jeschke and his 15-headed team  approached the peak. The obviously very exhausted record hunter stated: "Impossible to get higher".

During this week the team faced extreme obstacles on their steep way up: a glacier field with deep crevasses, steep slopes, metre high rocks, glacial rocks, a 10 metre high rock ledge as well as a frozen crater lake with cracks. "We intended only to reach 6,500 metres altitude. However, in this altitude we became stuck in a steep escarpment with no chance for return. In this desperate situation there was no other chance than to slip further on and reach a hollow. "This meant another 100 metres in altitude", said Jeschke who already obtained an altitude world record of 6,358 metres in 2005. This happened also on the "Ojos del Salado", the Chilean volcano and only mountain of the world which can be conquered in driving by a four wheel vehicle in such an altitude according to actual scientist statement. Also during this world record Jeschke trusted in Goodyear tires Wrangler MT/R dimension 255/75R17. "This tire is ideally designed for sharp-edged rock, scree and ice." Fitted with an inflation of 0.5 bar specially for extreme subsoil, these tires endured the extreme tour without puncture.
