Noise test

The measurements of tyre to road sound levels are carried out on specified surfaces. The sound levels in dB from right and left of the vehicle are recorded together with the speed.

Pitch sequence

The tread design ensures a low noise level. The different tread block sizes and the staggered tread block arrangement, result in an audible reduction of the noise frequency peaks when the tread blocks meet the road. This ultimately reduces the overall exterior noise emissions.
